Their top clients rely on DGI for their high-profile projects, knowing that they meet deadlines and exceed expectations adding a creative, fun dimension that is appreciated by everyone who experiences it.
DGI also offer a line of semi-permanent structures that are used as homes for eco-retreats and as emergency shelters. They support clientele around the globe and continue to expand both their capabilities and capacity to meet the growing need for their product and services. In support of international companies, DGI has built strong partnerships with a select group of companies to fulfill demand for temporary structures. Whether in Delfi or Dubai, Shelbyville or Xian, Dome Guys has the reach to deliver and build domes for any project with as little as two week's notice for domes-in stock and only two months for fully engineered custom solutions.
What makes Dome Guy domes green and sustainable?
- domes are a cost effective building practice
- the rounded, aerodynamic walls of a geodesic dome force air to travel more efficiently throughout the space, keeping energy consumption down
- use approximately one-third less surface area to enclose the
same volume as a traditional home, which means they require less
building materials
- DomeGuys International manufacturers
have a commitment to sustainability by utilizing eco-care concepts
throughout the entire material lifecycle, commitment to sustainable
production methods and development, utilization of ecologically
harmless raw materials, using recycled materials for packaging, and
using energy efficient manufacturing by fine-tuning operation systems
to avoid production waste and ensure production reliability.
Brill Metal Works
Becoming A More Responsible, Greener Business
Brill Metal Works is a leading sheet metal fabrication and product manufacturer in Southern Oregon. Locally owned, they pride themselves not only for offering the latest capabilities in precision fabrication, but also for working towards becoming a more responsible, greener business. - replacing the lighting throughout their 25,300 sq.ft. facility with energy-efficiency lighting.

- collect, separate and store all scrap metal in bins to be recycled
- the office routes faxes electronically and maximizes the use of e-communications to reduce paper consumption
- considered energy reduction features in new equipment purchases - their newest EM Turret Punch uses 60% less energy than the previous model, four reciprocating compressors, which only use power on demand save 20-25% energy use
Brill teamed up with the Oregon Department of Energy and the Energy Trust of Oregon to develop an energy efficient workplace that benefits both the environment and their business. One of their metals of course is steel - here are some interesting facts about steel:

- one 40,000 lb roll of steel conserves 17 loads of logs
- steel is 40 time stronger than wood
- steel does not attract bugs and does not wick moisture

Helping People To Save Money & Reduce Emissions
Syntek Global was launched in October, 2009. The product Xtreme Fuel Treatment is a 22 year old product that was used by the industrial market until last year. It is used in a very large mining company in Indonesia and increased the run time for heavy equipment engines from 15,000 to 25,000 hours - saving millions of dollars in maintenance expenses.
When fuel prices jumped above $3 a gallon, the maker of Xtreme Fuel Treatment saw a need for the product in the private sector. Syntek Global was created to help people through hard economic times. Josh and Genevie Woods, of Idaho Falls, joined Syntek Global as a ways to support their family after Josh retired from construction after an accident left him unable to work in construction.

The Spirit Of Green!
“In our every deliberation we must consider the impact of our decisions on the next seven generations.“ - The Great Law of the Iroquois Confederacy
Ever thought about becoming more “Energy Independent” and “Living Off The Grid”? For Kathleen Jarschke-Schultze, Living Off The Grid has been a way of life
for a full 25 years. On April 1st, 2010 Kathleen celebrated 25 years of living completely off-grid, beyond the grasp of power lines. Their off-grid home is transparent - visitors comment that if they hadn’t been told that the Kathleen & Bob O’s (Kathleen’s husband) home was off the grid, they wouldn’t have know it.
The first real clue is three digital meters on the wall between the dining room and kitchen. Their meters include an Outback Mate, a Tri-Metric 2020 and a Xantrex Link 10. These are products they sell through their business, Electron Connection and if possible, they incorporate products they sell into their Renewable Energy system to test out its performance in actual daily use. By glancing at the meters they can tell the battery bank state of charge. If the batteries are at 100% they do laundry or run the dishwasher – their biggest energy loads. To a degree, weather determines their housework schedule. click here to read more...
